  •   The 6-inch Ficus Elastica ‘Ruby Pink’ is a fuller, more mature rubber plant known for its large, glossy leaves and striking variegation. With its upright growth and bold coloration, it serves as a statement piece in any indoor setting.

Originating from tropical India and Malaysia, Ficus elastica thrives in warm, humid environments. The ‘Ruby Pink’ cultivar brings a colorful twist to this classic species.

Indoor flowering is extremely rare. In nature, it produces small, fig-like reproductive structures rather than noticeable flowers. Its foliage remains the primary ornamental feature.

The 6” Ficus ‘Ruby Pink’ stands out for its bold, painterly foliage—each leaf showcases a unique blend of green, cream, and rosy pink tones. Its larger size enhances its visual impact, making it an eye-catching focal point. Combined with its relatively easy care (with proper lighting), it’s a favorite for adding color and sophistication to indoor plant collections. (Caution: contains latex sap that may irritate skin and is toxic if ingested.)

  • Prefers bright, indirect light. Higher light levels are essential to maintain the vivid pink and white variegation. Avoid low-light conditions, which can dull the plant’s colors.

Water regularly to keep the soil lightly moist. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings, but do not let the soil fully dry out.

Thrives in a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix that supports steady moisture without becoming waterlogged.
Grows best in temperatures between 65–80°F (18–27°C). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F (13°C).

Moderate to fast grower under ideal conditions. In a 6-inch pot, it develops larger leaves and a fuller, more dramatic presence.

This plant is mildly toxic, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.

  • Best suited for USDA zones 10–12. Commonly grown indoors in most regions.

Works but will Dry Out Your Skin
Size: 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I am a swim instructor at an outdoor pool and this stuff DOES work. I can apply it at the beginning of a 5 hour shift and while I have experienced light tanning it has protected against burning completely without reapplication. The white cast is significant though I don't mind it aesthetically, I know its there for protection . It does rub off on things though so consider yourself warned. Major Con: it is incredibly drying, and the soap needed to scrub it off is A LOT. That coupled with chlorine is a lot for my skin . Still on my sunscreen journey.

I couldn’t put this book down!!
Format: Paperback
I couldn’t put this book down! My daughter & I stayed in a bed-n- breakfast in Lochcarran on our trip to Scotland right before the COVID pandemic. Not only is the story a fun cozy, whodunnit, but I could visualize the geography while reading. I love the Scottish Highlands & Dee describes them perfectly in this book. Can’t wait to read the next book..it should arrive today!!

Good book
Format: Audiobook
Book was interesting but had a hard time with the Scottish accent. Plus I have hearing problems so that may have been part of the issue too.

Pronunciation matters, and I can't finish this book.
Format: Audiobook
I listen almost exclusively to books set in Scotland & Ireland, so I'm very familiar with the accents and find them incredibly charming. That said, the name pronunciation really irritated me. The main character is Ally, but they are not pronouncing it to rhyme with Sally. It sounds more like they are separating it into two words- All E. After investing hours into the audiobook and trying to not let it bother me, they introduce an American character, Mamie, which should rhyme with "maybe", but NO- they call her Mommy! It is very confusing- I kept thinking a new character was introduced who was a parent. Nope. I give up. I don't think I can finish listening to this. I feel like I'm being pranked.
